Reflection Questions

1. What do you remember best from outdoor ed from this past year I don’t get the question if your asking what I remembered,I remember the struggle before our wetland  interpretation trip when we had so many projects to hand in. We had our posters, flash cards, presentations and much more and the stress kept building up on top of the pile of work we had. It if your asking my favourite moment it would have to be the final canoe trip when we stopped and swan just having fun pushing each other in and the wet sandy mud in between my toes. Or when Rose pulled out the giant water bug while we were critter dipping. 2. What challenged you the most from this past year in outdoor ed The challenge for me was getting in projects on time when we had all of those projects. Megan was a good partner and helped me get those projects in sooner and helped me improve them. This was challenging for me because I get stressed out and anxious very easily and this was a lot for me. 3.What did you find intere
A) What I did well While canoeing I was in the front I had some good call outs and it came in handy to steer at the to sharply turn away from a rock. We never tipped and the rocks helped us along and we never fell even on the rapids. I also enjoyed the joy and excitement to see on Miriam, Avery, and Owen’s face when we saw the bus. I also enjoyed swimming with Miriam, and Owen, it was quite fun. We also got to see the cows cross the river. 1. What worked in our station? It really started working when we used analogies like the jelly beans and fevers. 2. What didn’t work? On the first day people didn’t get when I was talking about climate change because they couldn’t relate to what I was reading or stating. 3. What was a difficulty that you hadn’t expected When the kids wouldn’t listen but there was no teacher in sight we were told to not deal with the kids but when someone didn’t act appropriately we didn’t have a supervisor to go to or for example the second day when s kid grabbed a leach with his bare hand the teachers were freaking out and didn’t know what to do 4. Were there outstanding students at your station and why? We had a couple of kids who just knew everything we were talking about and then there were kids who got what we talked about but didn’t know when we started it really caught on and stayed. In our class the most outstanding student would have to be Owen he spoke up and took control of our group
