1) Any interpretation that does not somehow relate what is being displayed or being described to something within the personality or experience of the visitor will be sterile. When interpretation that does not relate to what is being displayed or relates to the personality of the audience becomes boring and hard to understand. Figure out what your audience already knows and start from there you can get more information in if you don’t blab on about something they already know. Know what the most popular questions on the topic so you can answer them 2)Information, as such, is not interpretation. Interpretation is revelation based upon information. But they are entirely different things. However, all interpretation includes information. Straight information is not interpreting, they are related but not the same. Take a giant chunk of information and put your own cool little spin on it. You can often use Analogies and Metaphors to get information out for example, The wetland is a sponge it
Yesterday I learned how to identify poop that was kind of crappy. I also measured the diameter of a tree and counted 35 tree rings. I looked into the identification of trees like deciduous and coniferous I didn't find that interesting. I finally learned what a Baltimore Oriole sounds and looks like. I also learned a Chickadee is very annoying and that's the sound I hate so dearly. I looked at the growth lines of a fish they were quite hard to count. My favourite part of the day was the fur identification that one was quite fun. I also liked interpreting what human objects can help us relate to the benefits of wetlands. I also looked at a health and none healthy wetland and compared the two to see what was done differently. Overall I enjoyed my time in that class and the break from this overload of work it was nice to take a break from flash cards and infographs
Interpreting interpretation principles. 1) When interpretation that does not relate to what is being displayed or relates to the personality of the audience becomes boring and hard to stand 2) Straight information is not information they are related but not the same 3) Interpretation can be used in many different ways like historical, architectural, or scientific. 4) When teaching you don't want to shove you want to lead in the right direction 5) You should use all of your slides in a presentation, not just one, often go back and mention things from other slides What is an the interpretation? Interpretation to me is taking  a long boring a piece of work and turning it into something your audience can understand like instead of saying to a 4-year-old sound vibrations travel in a wave pattern, and we call these vibrations sound waves. Sound waves move by vibrating objects and these objects vibrate other surrounding objects, carrying the sound along. Sound can move through the air, w
The best text source out of my bibliographic would by far have to be Wetlands.” Ducks Unlimited Canada, www.ducks.ca/our-work/wetlands/. I just loved this source it has anything you can want out of a wetlands article.
The most important part of my slideshow to me would have to be storm protection. I choose this as my most important because floods are something we’ve had trouble with in the past and most likely in hw future. This was a very close race with animal habitats coming in a close second but I choose this one because we as humans can relate to it
Outdoor Ed PowerPoint list It’s a habitat to many different animals They collect run off and are great storm protection Improving Water Quality It feeds the fishes Erosion control The 2011 flood of Brandon Manitoba The history of draining wetlands Tobacco Creek Model Watershed Is it better to use dams? What does the loss of a wetland cost Manitoba's Wetlands What you can do to help Biodiversity in wetlands What is biodiversity No buffer exists to hold water Carbon mitigation(reduction) Economic benefits(tourism, flood control, hunting, bird watching, logging) Education( research/science, awareness) Possible Medicinal implications Why it’s important to protect the animals inside wetlands Gets us to look at our ecological  footprint Irrigation for farmers Beauty (EM) Cultural purpose (indigenous meeting places) ALUS Base for education( ducks unlimited, delta waterfall) Pest Control Fauna and Flora
My project is about the importance of wetlands in our community, culture, education, and where they help us economically. The main topic of my blog will be biodiversity but I also go into depth talking about storm protection and carbon mitigation. Enjoy the wild worlds of wetlands
